There are a handful of games that reviews just cannot give them justice. Usually those games are designed from the ground-up to build the plot, the suspense and emotions to a certain moment, or sometimes several moments. Remember Shadow of the Colossus? Ever got lost looking for one of the Colossi because you took a wrong turn and ended up on the other side of the map. Hours spent exploring empty wilderness and frustration keeps increasing as you find that your path is blocked again and again. The game used despair as an emotional drive to increase the player’s immersion, so that when the plot unfolds, the hit was felt by the player exactly like the game developers wanted. Spec Ops: The Line is the game that not only excels at playing with players emotions, but I would argue that it did it better than Shadow of the Colossus, which really says a lot. Continue reading →

يبدو ان العاب الهواتف الذكية والاجهزة اللوحية قد تحلق عالياً خلال السنوات القادمة خصوصا مع قرب صدور جهاز OUYA المنزلي المدعوم بنظام اندرويد  والذي يبدو انه سيقدم تجربة توازي تجربة هذه الالعاب ولكن من خلال اجهزة التحكم.
